Operations Manager Production Lead | Shop Fitting Installation | £40k - £45k | Gatwick area 

Aim Search are working with a Global Retail Design Agency & Manufacturer, who are looking for an experienced Operations Lead within the shop fitting / display industry.  As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for their house production and its team overseeing the day-to-day operations. Reporting directly into the Prebuild, QC & Logistics Director (Strategic Director ) you will form part of the management team delivering multiple campaigns simultaneously.

A range of production/ build skills will be required and previous experience in retail window installations is optimal, but training will be provided. The Operations Manager will need to work well under pressure, remaining calm and delivering to tight deadlines and standing as a role model for the rest of the business. Your leadership and strategic thinking will drive efficiency, quality, and growth within the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
•    Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
•    Process Optimization: Continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
•    Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
•    Team Leadership: Manage and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
•    Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks.
•    Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and track performance metrics.
•    Production Experience: Shop fitting installation is essential 

The perfect Operations Manager:
•    Proven experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or shop fitting.
•    Construct projects from technical drawings 
•    Previous  work in carpentry, Metal & Aluminium, Electrical (DC knowledge) 
•    Proficient in setting up digital equipment 
•    Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide teams.
•    Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
•    Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
•    Effective communication and negotiation skills.
•    Strategic thinking and adaptability.
