Large Format Operator - Hertfordshire

Large Format Operator / Digital Print Operator | N. Hertfordshire | 2 days on / 2 days off | £negotiable

Aim Search are partnered with a leading Producer of exciting Print & POS, due to expansion they are recruiting for an experienced Large Format flatbed Operator to join their talented team in North Hertfordshire.

About the Large Format Operator role:

• Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department;
• Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied;
• QC to job requirements;
• Maintain and process work according to the production schedule;
• Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered;
• Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department;
• Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations;
• Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
• Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).

About the successful Large Format Operator:

• Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes;
• Experience with HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek iideally
• Understanding Windows Operating systems
• Operational experience with print;
• Demonstrable attention to detail;

Shift: 2 days on, 2 days off 6am - 8pm
