This dynamic role calls for an experienced leader to oversee and develop the transport and logistics functions at their state-of-the-art site based in Bishops Stortford.  As the Head of Transport and Logistics, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the seamless delivery of goods and services.

About the successful Logistics Director:

  • We are looking for a natural leader to propel the Transport & Logistics team forward with vision and strategy.
  • Proven track record in a senior or leadership role with experience in logistics planning and fostering sustainable cross-functional relationships to meet strategic transport objectives.
  • Ability to analyse data and trends to make informed decisions 
  • Skilled in managing, motivating and developing teams to perform at high standards. 
  • Hands-on management style to guide delivery, enhance performance, and nurture a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, remaining composed when faced with conflict or unforeseen challenges.
  • Demonstrable experience in logistics planning, budgeting, and achieving targets with a commercial and innovative mindset.
